Step 1

Mix up all the dry ingredients and mix up all the wet ingredients separately.
Combine by pouring the liquid mix into the dry one and mixing it up yet again

Step 2

Heat up the oven at 165°C and spread out the batter into bar moulds

Step 3

Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown

This recipe works both as bars or loose granola.

For loose granola, you spread it out on a baking sheet as flat as you’re able to, and you flip them mid-bake once.

After they cooled down for a bit, you can break them apart and store them however you like

Yes.

I've personally tried using:
  • 57g peanut butter
  • 143g egg whites
  • 69g protein powder

These numbers kept the size the same.
Even though this did work, the bars/granola tasted noticably more dry

This recipe started as an adaptation of a recipe from The Protein Chef.

I changed the ratios and ingredients to make it higher in protein and a bit less in fat
